Three children find themselves the custodians of Keyhouse, a New England mansion. Within the house are fantastic doors that transform all who walk through them. The mansion is also home to a hate-filled creature that will not rest until it forces the kids to open the most terrible door of all.

Although it is revealed that Hearst had been raped and brutalized before succumbing to the ideology of her kidnappers, she is convicted of bank robbery and using a firearm in a felony and given a 35-year sentence.
