Based on the true story of Hope Stout, a 12-year-old girl who, when diagnosed with a life-threatening disease, set out on a mission to fund the wishes of all the other health-challenged children in her part of North Carolina.

After a hit goes bad, Nick Sax, a scummy corrupt ex-cop and hit man, is left gravely injured and he is suddenly able to see Happy, a cheerful little blue horse who won’t give in to adversity, no matter what unpleasant obstacles are in the way. Days before Christmas, Sax teams up with the saccharine horse to save the life of a troubled kid and maybe find redemption amid the squalor of his city.

This is an updated, big-screen version of the '60s and '70s TV series, featuring Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams as the heads of Hawaii Five-O, a specialty unit of the Hawaii State Police that answers only to the governor and focuses on organized crime.

Director Guillermo Del Toro envisioned "Hellboy" as a trilogy. The third film may also featuring the screen debut of Lobster Johnson.
