Moe Berg, an Ivy League grad and attorney, speaks nine languages, but that isn’t the only reason he stands out among his baseball teammates when he spends 15 years as a journeyman player for such teams as the New York Robins and Chicago White Sox. Berg doubles as a top secret spy for the OSS (a forerunner for the CIA), who helps the U.S. win the race against Germany to build the atomic bomb.

Lauren (Christina Ricci) and Russel Curran (Brendan Fletcher) decide to move away from the bustle of the city and into the peaceful oasis of The Pinnacle, a coveted luxury condo boasting ultra-modern design, state-of-the-art features and security systems. Lauren begins to suspect the building has a dark side and seeks the help of Vernon (John Cusack), an investigative journalist with an interest in cyber conspiracy. Together, they come to believe that The Pinnacle may be brainwashing unsuspecting residents.

The story follows single mother Laura (Farmiga) who, along with her awkward 14-year-old son Henry (MacDougall), is forced to drive her estranged, care-free, pot-dealing father Jack (Plummer) across country after he’s kicked out of yet another nursing home. The road trip veers off course when Jack decides to make a couple of stops and Henry asks to see his deadbeat dad Leonard (Cannavale).

Ever since the accidental death of his only child Cobb Mills has spent his time in a haze of guilt, booze and regret. When he takes a trip to the fateful town where the crash occurred he meets a mysterious, sultry woman. There is a spark between them providing him with hope. But he should have known better, and he soon finds that she carries a dark past which will come to haunt him…
