A Belgian Shepherd Malinois military working dog returns from active service in Afghanistan traumatized by his handler's death. Erratic and dangerous, Max is adopted by the bereaved family and bonds with the Marine's troubled 14-year old brother. Together they unravel the secret behind his brother's death and pull a family together again.

After going down in the fifth round, boxer Bud Gordon (Corey Stoll) bowed out of the limelight. Now residing in a fixer-upper apartment in New Jersey with his girlfriend, Bud longs for his former Manhattan glory. In an effort to get back in the game, he makes a deal with a crooked restauranteur (Billy Crudup). But quick schemes rarely bring easy pay-offs and as the consequences of his business negotiations unfold, Bud has to make a choice between his integrity and his ambitions.

Oskari, a shy, nervous 13-year-old boy, must prove his manhood by spending a day and a night alone in the forest. That night, Air Force One is shot down by terrorists and Oskari discovers the U.S. President in an escape pod. With the terrorists closing in, Oskari and the President must team up to survive.
