A biopic of Francisco "Pipin" Ferreras and his wife, Audrey Mestre, two world record setters in the sport of "freediving"—diving as deep as possible on one breath and without any scuba equipment. Mestre died in 2002 while trying to break her record of 557.7 feet.

On the Brinks

Samuel Millar is a member of the Irish Republican Army and spends eight years in tough Irish prisons during the late 1970s and 1980s, where he takes part in the blanket protest in which political prisoners refuse to wear prison garb and are severely punished for it. He then comes to America under a different identity, reinvents himself as a family man and comic book shop owner. But then he helps pull off an armored truck heist, stealing more than $7 million from a Brink's truck and thus executing one of the most successful heists in U.S. history. Millar is eventually pardoned by President Bill Clinton and sent back to Ireland, where he reinvents himself once again, this time as a best-selling author of crime books.

Robert Johnson's singing, guitar playing and songwriting skills during the 1930s later influences a generation of musicians including Bob Dylan, Keith Richards, Eric Clapton and Robert Plant. Playing mostly street corners and juke joints during his career, Johnson’s recordings are limited yielding 29 distinct songs recorded by famed Country Music Hall of Fame producer Don Law. These songs, recorded at a low fidelity, are released as 10-inch, 78 rpm singles from 1937–1938. He lives a short life until the age of 27.

Sexual Healing

The movie chronicles late Motown legend Marvin Gaye's self-imposed exile in Europe after years of battling drugs, domestic issues and label headaches. There, he was rescued by a promoter who helped Gaye record his biggest-selling album, "Midnight Love," which yielded the monster comeback hit, "Sexual Healing." Gaye's life was cut short the day before his 45th birthday in 1984, when his father killed him.

Dying To Be Me
