Tells the story of the German-Dutch Ludwig Mengelberg (played by Peter Nillesen), an officer in the German army who holds the nickname of "Der Fliegende Holländer." He finds it increasingly difficult to cope with the horrors of the war and when his wife and daughter are killed in a bombing, he makes a drastic choice. Transferred to the Netherlands, he decides to help a Dutch farm family covering up people in hiding. In doing so, he commits high treason against his own men. When the SS becomes suspicious and the resistance advances, Mengelberg not only puts his own life in danger, but also those of the people he aims to help.

Set during WWII, in this military adventure, a small, specialized squad of U.S. Army African American soldiers are sent on an unofficial rescue mission behind enemy lines to locate their missing commanding officer. The squad – upon battling their way through the German defenses – encounters more than they bargained for when they locate a downed U.S. Army pilot. With the help of their friends from the 761st tank battalion, the squad must find a way to survive and make it back in one piece.

On his way to find his daughter, deserter Henrich is stopped by SS troops and hanged from a tree. Courageous farmer Elsa saves him just in time. United by their common enemy, the two fight for justice and for their families.

Karl is fighting for his life's work on harder and harder conditions, and when the coalition government collapses, he is suddenly without political support and must do everything he can to secrue a future for the family - also on the other side of the war. This puts the relationship with Eva under pressure. She has always had difficulty with her husband's cooperation with the occutying forces. The growing opposition to the occupation and the increased brutality of the Germans have fatal consequences for the family.

Set in the heart of 1942 Warsaw, where Jews & refugees from across Poland were imprisoned in a ghetto and cut off from the outside world by a towering wall, Love Gets a Room follows Stefcia (Clara Rugaard) and her fellow Jewish theatre actors as they fight to keep their passion for performing alive. As life in the Nazi-occupied ghetto became a fierce fight against the cold, hunger, and epidemics, the actors, against all odds, embark on a daring mission to stage Jerzy Jurandot's play, risking their lives to create something beautiful in a world of chaos & destruction.
