A crime boss asks his trusted lieutenant to determine if his young mistress is having an affair... The lieutenant confirms the affair but, entranced by the girl, chooses to let them live. Discovering this, the crime boss orders the lieutenant killed, only he escapes and seeks vengeance.

Set in New York in 1957, the movie follows Spider (Holloway), a young gang leader who blunders into the gambling nest of a notorious gangster, makes off with a suitcase full of money and is beaten and left for dead. He is taken in by a sheltered young woman named Tamara (Habel), who hides him along with her reclusive, bedridden uncle, an exiled crime lord.

After serving an eight year prison sentence for involuntary murder, a man tries to come to terms with what he has done.

Alexander Fox, an elegant gent, leaves the States to start a new life in the tiny nation of Andorra. He's quickly drawn to two women – a tall, cool Australian blonde with a giant dog, and the reserved, heartbroken daughter of the town’s matriarch. When a dead body turns up in the harbor Fox finds he's the prime suspect.

The story follows Steven Joyner (Brown) as he tries to solve the mystery behind his son’s sudden, tragic and potentially fabricated death.
