Ashley's War

The U.S. Army Special Operations Command creates a pilot program that allows elite women soldiers on the battlefield with Green Berets and Army Rangers in Afghanistan in 2010. The unit, CST-2, brings together a hand-picked group of women from the Army, and that includes 1st Lieutenant Ashley White. White and her platoon mates bond over adversity. She becomes the first CST member killed in action. White's name is placed on the Army Special Operations Memorial Wall of Honor alongside the Army Rangers she served with in the unit.

The Janson Directive

Follows a former consular ops agent who, after leaving covert operations due to the high number of sanctioned serial killings, goes into business as private security consultant. Teamed with a sharpshooter, Janson only takes assignments that he believes will lead to helping those in need.

Two days in October 1967 two events were taking place, one was at the University of Wisconsin where students were protesting Dow Chemical for its production of napalm when their peaceful demonstration turned into a riot. The other event was in Vietnam, where a platoon of U.S. soldiers were ambushed by Viet Cong and 61 Americans were killed. These two separate events solidified opposition to the war on college campuses.
