An inspiring true story that looks at what it means to see beyond one’s self. A small group of prisoners inside Sing Sing Correctional Facility, one of the world’s most infamous maximum security prisons, attempt to stage their own original production, “Breakin’ The Mummy’s Code,” from inception to opening night.

In 1972, Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571, which had been chartered to fly a rugby team to Chile, crashed in the heart of the Andes. Only 29 of its 45 passengers survived the accident. Trapped in one of the most hostile and inaccessible environments on the planet, they have to resort to extreme measures to stay alive.

The film follows Clifton (Osborne), who is the star attraction of the Harlem Globetrotters, led by owner/coach Abe Saperstein (Pollak). Hegar also sues the secretary of defense asserting that the Combat Exclusion Policy (which prevents women from entering direct combat) is unconstitutional, and she wins. In 2013, the secretary of defense repeals the policy.
